Corporate Wellness

In ancient China doctors were paid a retainer to keep their patients well, with regular acupuncture, herbs, diet and lifestyle guidance. If you got sick, then your doctor treated you for free until you were well again. This is the ultimate wellness approach, keeping people healthy rather than investing time and money in treating illness.

Companies are increasingly recognising the advantages of a healthy workforce. Sick pay and health insurance are costly. An abundance of research suggests that bringing fitness and mindfulness practices into the workweek provide a myriad of benefits for employers and employees alike (https://www.forbes.com/sites/serenaoppenheim/2019/06/11/how-the-corporate-wellness-market-has-exploded-meet-the-latest-innovators-in-the-space/?sh=7f98b3465d91).

My holistic approach covers nutrition, physical exercise, and mental wellbeing. I work individually with employees to create a personalised plan for a healthier lifestyle. I run yoga classes tailored to the clients. I also give talks, both inhouse and online, on a variety of topics including:

  • Improving sleep
  • Managing cravings
  • Reducing anxiety
  • Good mood foods
  • Healthy heart
  • Weight management
  • The truth about vitamins
  • A healthy gut
