180g butter

180g dark chocolate

150g caster sugar

3 eggs

110g plain flour, sifted

  1. Preheat oven to 180oc/350of/gas 4
  2. Line the bottom of a 20cm square tin with parchment paper
  3. Melt the butter and chocolate over a low heat
  4. Separately beat the eggs and sugar together
  5. When melted, allow chocolate to cool for a few minutes and then mix with the eggs and sugar
  6. Add the flour and mix to combine
  7. Pour into the tin and cook for 30-35 minutes
  8. Cut into squares, and take out of tin when cooled
