Ingredients
- 350g (14oz) gluten-free oats
- 200g (7oz) butter
- 100g (4oz) brown sugar
- 2tbsp (3oz) golden syrup
Method
- Preheat oven to 150c/300f/gas mark
- Melt butter in saucepan with sugar and golden syrup. Heat gently until sugar dissolved
- Stir in oats
- Tip mixture into Swiss roll tin (9inchx13inch) lined with parchment and press it out evenly using back of a spoon
- Bake in preheated oven for about 30 mins or until golden brown
- When baked coat with melted chocolate as a special treat
- Cut into squares while still warm and leave to cool in the tin
